Patriotism Overdosed (P-Movie)
Review:
P-Movie in a glorified commercial way. The pain of Pathaan (SRK) can be felt easily by going through his recent real life happenings, saving his family seemed to be the last option for him. but the price will be paid in future for being part of such propaganda, and in my opinion it will be much more than thousands of crores earned via box office collections.
An Artist of such stature and intellectual like SRK, when goes against his will, the background story must be very painful and depicts his helplessness of overcoming the situation he had been facing.
The movie not only declared itself as a celebrity endorsements & glorified justification of Indian Parliament's wrongdoings, as illegally revoking Article 370 for Kashmir, but also exposes hidden players behind this game globally. Its a part of 5th generation warfare being fought over the UN declared disputed territory Kashmir.
When you critically examine the recent events and happenings of Indian Democracy and state affairs alongside, you will definitely sense a smell of orthodox cabal handling and channeling the Power to Rule over region through their extreme right wing policies, without coping up with the will of the People in majority, thus exposing false notions of secularism and liberalism imposed via Indian democracy.
Overall stating the Movie as a dose of forcefully imposed Patriotism, by using huge celebrities trying to create positive image of negative situation.
Last but not the least, as per current situation of Salman Khan's Security and Death Threats, he might appear in a next of his thriller movie propagating the same Kashmir Issue.
Technical Analysis:
Technically a Top-Notch Production, Latest Cinematography but jerky camera at places, Theme Music unable to create an impression, much room for improvement in Background Music, Art Direction was was superb and complimenting various Digital Gadgets and Technology used. Wardrobe and Getups were up to the mark. Stunts and Actions were fresh (to match the reality air bags could have been blown inside the car in a scene)
Performances were outrageous, Salman Khan’s entry was Spot-On and Fun.
Story and Script was weak but driven smartly with events planned accordingly, First half was Amazing, Second was Slow and Third was Average.
