Pakistan's Biggest Detective Series by Ishtiaq Ahmed
When it comes to creating a good content in Pakistan, there arises various boundaries blocking the ways to produce good entertainment. Be it the client's demands, propagating agendas or any other reasons. The result is shortage of content. The only Big Hit recently appeared was "The Donkey King", an animated movie, leaving a big question mark on the faces of Lollywood Film Producers. The animated movie is praised world wide and has released in multiple languages in different countries.

Such acts to gain Fame, could be beneficial in the short run, but in the long run its a decline to the revival of Silver Screen.
Apparently, such gimmicks creates an empty space, which is filled by several contents like "Ertugrul Ghazi", "Sultan", "Kurulus Osman" and various others foreign contents.
On the other hand, There has been a recent resurgence of internationally acclaimed Pakistani content, including:
- Asim Abbasi's web series Churails (Zee 5)
- Saim Sadiq's Darling that won Best Short at the Venice Film Festival,
- Hamza Bangash's short 1978 that screened at the Locarno Film Festival, and much more.
- Jawad Sharif's magnificently shot documentary Indus Blues — The Forgotten Music of Pakistan, also won Best Documentary Feature and Best Cinematography at the Jaipur International Film Festival last year.
